Save room to optimize: Go to protofits, make your dream build. You'll need that extra PG to make it work.
Minmando/swarms: Current AV area denial champion.
GalLogi/Scans: All seeing eye.
Uplinks: Because being the only person putting them out will make you WP lord.
Pythons: Uplink providing and denying, high flying death machines.
Minmatar Assault: Middle of the road assault. It will survive the nerfs that will kill other suits.
AR, CR, SCR, RR: Pick one based on your preferred range of engagement. If you like playing the outskirts go SCR or RR, a bit closer CR, and if you're super friendly go AR.
Explosives: Core nades are necessary. If you chose CR as your main Light weapon use flux grenades. You'll make up that difference, by melting armor.
Plasma Cannon: For fun, and that is all.
Heavy/HMG: Amarr. As much as I hate to admit it, it's the one thing the Amarr do right.
Logi/Reptool: Minmatar, because rep rates and lock on ranges are the best. WP farmers.
If you own any APEX suits you'll want the corresponding suit decked out in order to use the APEX suit to it's full potential, or don't. It's a free suit. Who cares? Until you see that reload speed on the Renegade.
There are no right answers here.
You have to know yourself more than anything. Your play style is your own so pick the suit that compliment your style and that will make you the happiest. Some people like sniping, and some people think cucumbers are better tasting pickles. I have a fair amount of game knowledge. I should have been more clear. What would you like me to spec into and why?
I'll edit the op. |

What would you like me to spec into and why? I'll edit the op. Honestly, the reason I answered that way is that if you spec'd into all of the above, you'd be a very well rounded player. You could switch roles easily and always fill in where needed. These roles come up frequently in PC. The only thing I didn't suggest is a scout, because I'm the worst scout ever and wouldn't dare to tell anyone how to spec into that. With 70 million, you should be able to proficiently carry out multiple roles on the battlefield which will make you marketable as a ringer, or a valuable asset to any team. How does the Gallente logi perform in a fight? Gal Assault is brutal but I use the side arm alot. |

Cal scout: Godly regen of 50/second with 1.8 delay, low db profile and 153 armor...by far the better choice when assaulting than the gal scout. I only pull it out when there are scans. Min scout: Who doesn't think knifing is fun Scout ck.0 4 complex shield extenders complex shield regulator complex reactive armor plate RE, nanohive Core locus, breach SMG, boundless CR Gunnlogi: 3 Complex afterburners 2 Complex armor hardeners 1 80GJ ion cannon Assault ak.0 is easy to fit, but i just use 2 dmg mods, 2 complex reps, 1 plate and 2 reactives Min scout is a niche fit so good luck I've actually stolen tanks with afterburner fitted. It makes me sad. |

This one is for when the enemy team is relying on scouts. You'll run multiple scanners and keep the enemies lit up. It's a support role, but your team won't be getting stabbed in the back and having REs frisbee'd on them. This suit gains maximum team gratitude. If utilized properly you can engage enemy scouts at a distance...they'll be the fast moving red dots, still trying to flank after getting high beamed. It also gains WPs out the ass through assist kills. Sounds expensive. I'll consider it but would like more info on how to protect my investment. |

First: Allotek PLC prof 5 is godly. Lol forget isk (can we get the AV price for it? Proto AV is 25k ish... And well, the cann is an AV weapon after all) Secondly, Allotek + comp mod is OP. Thridly, Allotek prof 5 + gk.0 + comp mod. you are a god if you can aim. But yeah... If you poor just KLA it...
I will look into the PLC. The thing is they appear to be a fun thing and not a tactical weapon. All I hear is how well they OHK. I would rather have a reliable weapon than get lucky kills. If I have spare sp I may see if they can be put to use in a squad situation. Solo shenanigans just aren't my thing. |

Core skills are fundamental. Does anyone have an exact cost? I'd like to subtract it from the total SP. |

I will probably top all those off.

Let's call it 26 million then. I got 44 million to build a mercenary. Don't worry about core skills or modules. They have all been deducted. Vehicles are accounted for too.

I will probably top all those off. Thank you btw. Weaponry doesn't give a passive, but level 5 is needed if you want to start Heavy Weapon Operation. Weaponry = 310,920 - Explosives = 621,840 - Handheld Weapon Upgrades = 621,840 - Heavy Weapon Operation = 621,840 - Light Weapon Operation = 621,840 - Sidearm Operation = 621,840 Totals to 3,420,120. All of these reduce CPU usage of their respective categories. Hand held weapon upgrades. It was a chasm. |
